Our first real day out since Paris and it has been a good one. After a fairly lazy get up followed by a leisurely breakfast, we bundled into the car and aimed north of Airvault.Heading out of Airvault, you're accompanied on both sides by field after field of sunflowers, with their heads bowed towards or away from you 'en mass' depending on which side of the road they're on and where the sun happens to be in the sky.
We decided to pull over and take a closer look, but not before something else caught our eye...
