The scars of holidays in France, Scotland and Cornwall spent touring endless stone circles, quoits, fogous and other ancient relics have only just faded for Grace. You can, therefore, imagine her delight when we spotted some sizeable Dolmens near the roadside as we passed through the village of Taize.Of course, it would have been rude to simply pass them by. We were rewarded with four fantastic and well maintained examples of these neolithic chambers.
